Graduation - Mid-Year Ceremonies

Wednesday 30 July 2025Digital certified copies of your Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) and digital parchment will be available online through My eQuals within 10 working days after conferral date.Note: Progressive mailing out of parchments commences 30 July 2025.
Graduation - September conferral
Friday 22 August 2025Cut off to apply to exit early from your current course, Apply to Graduate Early with an Approved Exit Course (Early exit request). Applications are subject to faculty approval.Cut off to lodge credit (advanced standing) application for September conferral.
Cut off to lodge cross-institutional results to be eligible for September conferral.

Wednesday 10 September 2025Final date to clear sanctions (e.g. outstanding fees, library fines and student loans) to be included in September conferral. (Allow 4 working days for financial payment to clear)Graduation - September conferral

You can plan ahead by checking the graduation ceremony schedule below and finding the ceremony date and time for your study area.
End-of-year ceremonies
End-of-year ceremonies will be held from Monday 8 December to Wednesday 17 December 2025 at the Star Brisbane Event Centre (subject to change).
Further details about the ceremony schedule will be available in mid-September, 2025.
Mid-year ceremonies
Mid-year ceremonies are typically held in July or August at the Star Brisbane Event Centre.
Further details about the ceremony dates and schedule will be available in Semester 1, 2026.

Live streaming
All graduation ceremonies will be live streamed for the benefit of family members or friends who are unable to attend the ceremony.
This stream can be viewed from Windows and Mac OS X computers, Apple iOS and Android mobile devices. Streaming video can be data-intensive - be aware of your mobile plan's 3G/4G data limits.
No permanent recording will be kept by or used for any other purpose by the University.
