Reset a forgotten QUT password

If you're unable to log in or have forgotten your password, you can use the options below to reset your password.

Microsoft Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)

Available to current staff and students:

• Use your Microsoft SSPR sign-in methods.
• Enter your username as "username@qut.edu.au".

Available to current staff and students, and QUT alumni:

• Use your pre-configured QUT password recovery options (e.g. SMS, email, question and answer).
• Enter your username as "username".

Need help or forgotten your QUT username?

For students, your username is the letter 'n' plus your student ID, for example n12345678.
