What is HiQ?
HiQ is the first point of contact for QUT enquiries for students, staff and the wider community. You can contact HiQ by chat, email, phone or face-to-face on campus.
HiQ can help you with:
- general enquiries
- ID cards
- student administration processes, such as admission, enrolment, fees and advanced standing
- technology support
- study and library support.
HiQ website and QUT app
If you have a QUT username and password, you can:
- visit the HiQ website to find answers to your questions, receive important messages and manage your studies
- download our free QUT app to receive important messages, help you manage your studies, find available parking, check the shuttle bus timetable and find your way around campus.

HiQ on campus
You can visit HiQ on campus at Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove. HiQ spaces are where you can get help from student concierges or make use of amenities like:
- comfortable seating
- quick-access computers
- study spaces
- digital interactive walls.
Our Gardens Point space also includes a Merlo Coffee.
