Moreover, interaction and visual designers need a deep understanding of established and new design methods and conceptual approaches. This unit addresses the intellectual frameworks, theories, and philosophical and cultural issues surrounding contemporary design practice. It addresses the methodologies and methods designers use for critical, creative, and analytical thinking and for driving design innovation.
