Previous units QZB101 English for Academic Purposes 1A and QZB102 English for Academic Purposes 1B introduced you, and enabled you to practice, English language skills, benchmarking you at English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 1 standards. This unit QZB201 and its following unit QZB202 English for Academic Purposes 2B further develops your English language academic skills and enables you to practise them. You will continue to be be taught and assessed on English Language Proficiency (ELP) and the use of this language to complete academic tasks. Upon successful completion of this unit and QZB202 you will be benchmarked at English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 2 standards, which recognises the results as being notionally equivalent to the Overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6, equipping you with the academic English language skills required for EZ90 Bachelor of Engineering (Hons).
