Overview

What is Diploma Advantage?

QUT College Diploma Advantage gives you a great opportunity to try out a diploma unit during the school holidays between Years 11 and 12.

The program is offered over QUT College’s summer teaching period and will give you an understanding of university life and a chance to experience the difference between high school and university. You’ll be part of the student community and attend workshops and tutorials with other QUT College students. 

Students who complete the program will be eligible for 12 credit points (equivalent to 1 unit) of advanced standing within the relevant diploma or degree program at QUT.

Course Structure

QUT College Diploma Advantage program allows students from QUT's 30 Widening Participation schools to study, with the support of their school, one unit at diploma level during QUT College's summer teaching period. 

Students who complete the program will be eligible for 12 credit points (equivalent to 1 unit) of advanced standing within the relevant diploma or degree program at QUT.
