Course information
The Master of Advanced Practice Nursing provides an opportunity for registered nurses to acquire an advanced level of knowledge and skills in nursing practice, and prepare for advanced practice roles in selected areas of health care.
This course will further develop your expertise in areas including advanced nursing practice in selected specialties, nursing research and scholarship, and leadership and management in health care.
Students are required to undertake 144 credit points of study consisting of:
- 48 credit points of study in a specialist study area or units from across specialty areas, and
- 96 credit points of study that includes research studies.
Students may choose to undertake either a dissertation or project stream.
