Course information
The Graduate Certificate in Communication for Information Technology will provide you with core discipline studies and communication knowledge and skills.
The course structure consists of 48 credit points of units. There are two common core communications units (24 credit points) and two information technology unit options (24 credit points)
Pathways to further study
The QUT Graduate Certificate in Communication for Information Technology is located at Level 8 of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Eligible graduates may articulate from the Graduate Certificate in Communication for Information Technology into the related IN20 Master of Information Technology course.
Progression
Progression to your Masters degree
To progress into QUT's Master of Artificial Intelligence, ¿Master of Cyber Security, or Master of Information Technology you will need to successfully complete your Graduate Certificate in Communication for Information Technology.
Advanced standing
After successful completion of Graduate Certificate in Communication for Information Technology, you are eligible for 48 credit points (one semester) of credit (along your grades) towards:
- Master of Artificial Intelligence (remaining duration: 3 semesters)
- ¿Master of Cyber Security (remaining duration: 3 semesters).
- Master of Information Technology: all majors (remaining duration: 3 semesters).
