Course information
In this program, students study six faculty units as well as two units of Communication which have been designed to support their other units. Small lectures and tutorials, additional workshops and the support of Language and Welfare Advisers provide an excellent learning environment.
Course structures
You will complete six of the Creative Industries units as well as two units of Communication.
- Creative Industries: People and Practices
- Strategic Speech and Communication
- Creative Industries: Making Connections
- Photomedia and Artistic Practices
- The Successful Creative Life or Managing Social Media (available to students who commence from Feb 2019)
- Introducing Design History *
- Academic Communication 1
- Academic Communication 2
Course completion
Students must obtain at least a grade of 4 (Pass) in all units.
Progression
In order to progress to the degree, students must:
- fulfil the Diploma in Creative Industries course requirements; plus
- international students: meet any other conditions detailed in the 'letter of offer'
- domestic students: will be made an offer to the degree after the official release of results. No QTAC application is required.
Course Structures
Students complete eight units (96 credit points). International students complete six discipline units and two academic skills units and domestic students complete seven discipline units and one academic skills unit.
IF06 students can enrol in a maximum of 48 credit points (4 units) per teaching period and should follow the course structures below.
