Work integrated learning
Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is embedded in the curriculum and is a core component for all Urban and Regional Planning students.
WIL allows you to graduate with a portfolio of professional skills that provides evidence of your professional competencies. You are required to undertake 30 days (225 hours) of approved work experience within your major in the Urban and Regional Planning environment as part of your Work Integrated Learning. To complete your double degree within the standard timeframe (5 years for full-time), it is recommended to follow the provided study plan as not all units are offered every semester. This will ensure that you satisfy all prerequisites where applicable.

Students undertake a total of 480 credit points, comprising 288 credit points of Built Environment (Honours) units, 168 credit points of Property Economics units and 24 credit points of QUT You units.
