Course structures
Students will complete six of the engineering core units as well as two units of communication.
- Engineering Mechanics
- Energy in Engineering Systems
- Introduction to Engineering Mathematics
- Foundations of Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering Materials
- Engineering Computation
- Academic Communication 1
- Academic Communication 2
Course completion
Students must obtain at least a grade of 4 (Pass) in all units.
Progression
In order to progress to the QUT Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) program:
- Fulfil the Diploma in Engineering course requirements; plus
- international students: meet any other conditions detailed in the 'letter of offer'
- domestic students: will be made an offer to the dgree after the official release of results. No QTAC application is required.
Study costs
Domestic students may need to pay the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).
